Gemma-Leigh James up for Best Female Presenter Award

Our very own Gemma-Leigh James has been recognised by the Community Radio Awards for her hard work and presenting skills over the last 12 months.

Gemma-Leigh, who presents on Breakfast and Afternoon Gold 90’s show on Marlow FM was nominated for the Best Female Presenter award and has been shortlisted in the finals. This comes 12 months after she was nominated for the Best Newcomer award.

Gemma-Leigh has interviewed some big named celebrities including Russell Brand and Tim Brooke-Taylor and aside from Presenting she is also a producer and co-ordinator for the station. She’s presented at all the stations big outside broadcasts including Pub in the Park, Marlow Town Regatta and the Marlow Carnival. She loves getting out of the studio to gather content for her show’s which has included the Gravity Grand Prix where she reported live as co-pilot in one of the competitors carts as she sped round corners and chicanes at speeds up to 30mph.

Sam Sethi, also a presenter at the station has been nominated for Best Newcomer for his weekly technology show.
