Our Helen Sheppard wins a BAFTA

Massive congratulations to our Helen Sheppard for winning a BAFTA at last night’s British Academy Children’s Awards. Her CBeebies program ‘Get Well Soon Hospital’ which she was the producer of, won a BAFTA award in the Pre-school Live Action category.

Get Well Soon Hospital Features TV’s Dr. Ranj and his puppet friends, created to both educate and reassure preschool children about trips to the hospital.

Helen is one of our Media Trainer’s here at Presenter Academy and has 7 previous BAFTA nominations as well as winning a further 3 RTA awards. Those of you who have been lucky enough to work with Helen on our presenter courses, will know how passionate, dedicated, and patient she is. Helen runs our ‘Become A Children’s TV Presenter’ course and is regularly on our other Presenter Courses. Big well done Helen.

Helen directs and produces programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and S4C. Her work has included comedy, documentary, education, puppetry, skins and animation. As a TV Director and Producer, Helen knows exactly what she is looking for from upcoming presenters and will pass her knowledge onto you so that you stand out and get booked.
