If you’ve ever dreamed of Becoming A Children’s Presenter we have a once in a lifetime opportunity to get trained by multi-award-winning and BAFTA-winning Director & Producer Helen Sheppard on her Become A Children’s Presenter Course.

Helen has directed and produced for the BBC, ITV & Channel 4, her credits include Mr Tumble, Justin’s House & Art Attack. In 2019 Helen won a BAFTA for Cbeebies ‘Get Well Soon Hospital’ which she produced. As a Producer and Director Helen knows exactly what she is looking for from upcoming presenters and will pass her knowledge onto you so that you stand out and get booked.

Spending the day with Helen you will learn;

  • How to be engaging, natural and confident when talking to children and the camera
  • How to ad-lib and think on the spot for live tv
  • Reading autocue naturally and work with green screen
  • The core principals of working in a TV studio that you will be expected to demonstrate in an audition of screen test
  • How to co-present with a co-host and how you can bring puppets to life in a believable way to entertain your audience
  • Film PTC’s to camera which you can edit into a mini demo reel
  • Career Strategy on how to get work as a Children’s Presenter.

This presenting course is ideal for people wanting to become a children’s presenter and is suitable for all levels as no experience is needed. You must be 16 years or older to attend this course. There is no upper age limit. Courses are run at various locations; Wembley Studios, Oxford, Pinewood Studios & 3 Mills Film Studios.
